 Eggs sunny side up, flying armchairs, bubble desks, pedestal tables made out of multicoloured pillows,creatures half alien - half cat named Mathilda, Oscar or Judith... All of these pieces are unique and done by Michel Froment,an atypical character just like his works.
In his first life as an antique dealer, Froment was fascinated by the biggest designers of the 20th century. Their works constitute the core knowledge of his universe.

Today, he gives us his version of an unknown world, without truths nor references, a world in which we feel like diving easily.
The colours are acidulated, pop, vibrant, they titillate our imagination just like his experiments with rubber marry his creative madness as well as his wisdom. His is a universe that is alive, filled with fantasy and playfulness because for Fromenteverything is about these new shapes he gives birth to, shapes that are whimsical and gently decallees.
As you can tell, Froment is not an artist you can easily commission: it is better to give him carte blanche, he will give life to everything that speaks to your unconscious to your imagination, even if that means taking you with him on another planet.

Offered to us, is a strange jungle of unknown pink plants.
Some have huge stalks, others have flowers with petals varying in shapes and sizes.
Some have sharp pistils like antennas, others are circular as nipples would be... Really strange creatures!
Upon seeing this luxurious jungle which stimulates our imagination, the urge to feel, touch and smell it becomes uncontrollable. But beware! We are being looked at and scrutinized by strange fellows with saucers as heads, they look as stunned as we do.
Are they this jungle's creators or founding fathers? ... What a curious UFO is this artist Michel Froment, a sculptor who invites us to visit the core of his wild and fanciful universe, a universe fed by his previous life as an art collector.
His creative universe has no boundaries as any object around him can be a potential source of inspiration.
